What type freon does the 1994 pontiac grand prix use?

R-134a I believe..
You can't get the old stuff "r-12" anymore. there is a label under the hood it's more than likely on the strut tower on the driver side it's a yellow tag with black writing it should say what it takes and how much. If it were a system that took r-12 you would need a retrofit kit to convert the car to r-134a. good luck :)
