Pontiac Repair: tire noise, speed brakes, cv joint

I have a 01 pontiac sunfire front wheel drive. my problem is my left front tire is making loud sound and vibrating. the noise getts louder w/speed. brakes looks good, changed tired what other possiblies could it be barrens, anxel cv joint?

It's more than likely a bad wheel bearing. The bearing is part of the hub assembly on the car. A cv joint is possible but a more likley cause is the bearing. when you drive in a straight line juts tunr the wheel a bit ot the right ot left if the noise changes with steering wheel input the problem is a bearing. good luck :}
