How do I get the water pump off my 1987 Grand Prix???

what engine is in this car? v8 or v6? it's basically the same thing. you have to remove the fan first. thenremove the belts. then remove the bolts that attach the pum to the block or the front timing cover depending on what engine it has in it. I cna tell you if this has the v6 3.8 liter buick engine be very careful not to break off any of the bolts the bols go into an aluminum cover and thye have a tendency to corrode to the aluminum and a easy job will become hard in ahurry if you break one or more of them off.
