Pontiac Repair: I have a 2001 pontiac bonneville that wont go in gear at first, pontiac bonneville, transmission shop

I have a 2001 bonneville and it starts just fine but wont go in gear at first after it warms up for a min. it will and then I have no problems shifts smoothe. I am hoping I wont have to replace the transmission. It is an automatic also.

If you are putting it in D and it will not move until warm, I would get the fluid AND filter repalced.
That would be the least expensive item to have replaced.
IF it still does it, I would take it to a good transmission shop in your area for an estimate.
