Pontiac Repair: 92 Leman ground for injectors, fuel pump, service manuals

Question
I have replaced the fuel pump and relay in my Leman and I am still getting no hum or fuel from the fuel pump. It has been suggested that the problem may be a faulty ground. I have no idea after looking where that ground comes off the harness or how I would go about replacing it. Any help greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hi Gavin:

I don't have accesss to older service manuals only back to '98. Are you sure you are getting power back to the pump just because you replaced the relay doesn't mean the pump is getting power. Check for power back at the pump connector If you have power ther and no gorund I would just run a redundant ground from the pump to the body. It it has power and ground and no pump running you know tyhe pump is bad. good luck :}
