Pontiac Repair: 93 Lumina 3.1 No Spark No start!, crank sensor, pink wire

My chevy ran fine , parked it the other day now it wont start.I.ve replaced ign module because no spark, Power to coil side of mod but no 12v to 5 pin module connector.I have fuel pump preasure 40# I hear pump.Cranks good! please help.      Thanks

That 5 pin connector is for the engine coltrol from the computer and the input from the crank sensor. The other small connector with a balck and pink wire is the power and ground input to the module If you have power and ground with the key on. that's not the issue. I would check the crank sensor the wires for that are yellow and purple I think on that year car toi make sure of the right colors take a look between the engine and transmission the crank sensor goes into the block on the back side take a look at the wire color there. If it' right check the resiatance of the sensor at the 5 pin connector it could be somewhere between 800 and 1500 ohms with it connected to the sensor. if not then you either have a bad wire or bad sensor. In that module has power and ground and it sees that crank sensor input when your cranking the car it should have spark and run. good luck :}
