Pontiac Repair: pontiac grand am 2002, pontiac grand am, manual mode

Question
I have a grand am se 2002, I pulled the battery out and when I put it back in my instrument lights and tail lights are not working at all, (on auto or manual mode) I checked all the breakers and fuses on both sides and in the engine. I don't know where the sensor is for the auto mode.
also the service vehicle light came on as well. brake lights, headlights and turn signals work.

The auot light ensore is in the center of the dash up by the windshiled. If the service vehicle light came on ther is some kind of fault that the body control system has detected and that is more than likely why the lights do not work. You need to have the code scanned and that will lead you to where the porblem is. Good luck :)
