Pontiac Repair: check engine light, ponitac, self check

Question
I have a Ponitac Montana, 2000 3.4L engine.  How do I turn off the check engine light after replacing oxyegn sensors?

Answer
Hey Cliff:

If you indeed fixed the problem by replacing the sensor or sensors the ECM "computer" constantly does self check for the sensors and if the problem is corrected after a few drive cycles from cold to hot the light will go off on it's own. If it stays on after a few days you have something else going on that is keeping the light on. You can also get a cheap code reader that the parts store that will read and clear codes. Good luck :)
