Pontiac Repair: 1999 Grand prix GT Humming noise, grand prix gt, pan gasket

Question
Recently i bought a 1999 grand prix Gt has 390k on it. Had the oil pan gasket replaced and that solved my oil leaking. But I've been having a humming noise since i got the car, and it only happens when i turn the steering wheel to the right for a curve, like a steady curve, if you let off for a second in the righthand curve the humming stops. Any suggestions on what could be the problem? everything else is working perfectly.

Answer
Hi
REALLY sounds like they got the lower engine cover outside of the frame bracket and it is rubbing on the tire on a right turn.
Not hurting anything, but I would take it back.
It'll only take them 5 mins or so to reposition the cover.
I have done it NUMEROUS times myself.
They SHOULD have caught it on a test drive, but....
I Hope this helps.
Good Luck
