Pontiac Repair: 1995 firebird - electrical problem with window, left turn signal, oil light

Im looking into buying a 1995 firebird v6 5spd manual transmission.  everythhing on the vehicle is good, except the drivers window power window does not work, as well as an oil light comes on and off on the car when driven, and when taking to a mechanic..he said it was just a dummy light, so im not sure if this is a concern or not..as well as the left turn signal sometimes sticks and does not work.  how can these problems be fixed? and for how much?

i would check out the oil light thing first
if its just a loose wire on the oil pressure sensor then fine.
But it could be much worse, check the oil in the car if the oil is black and dirty then do not buy it.
If the oil looks like it has been changed frequently and its not low on oil then ok.

The mechanic says its just a dummy light, because if the light comes on then you are a dummy for not checking your oil sooner and now you have to pay the mechanic a few thousand dollars for a new engine "dummy".
