Pontiac Repair: fuel injection, pontiac grand prix, fuel injections

Question
Hi,  My 1991 Pontiac Grand Prix SE  won't start.  I took it to a service station  and they said it would need 2 fuel injections.  Is this a difficult job and is it expensive.  Its a 3.1  engine.  A friend told me he thought it was a fuel pump.

Answer
It is not a difficult job for me to do but I cant speak for you or the guy at the "service station". I work flat rate and the job usually pays about 2 hours of labor. I dont know what the labor rate is at the place you took the car.
Ususally 2 bad injectors will NOT cause the car to not start. You may have another problem or the guy at the service station diagnosed it wrong.
