Pontiac Repair: Pontiac/Loose steering, pontiac grand prix, grand prix 3

Question
Hello,
We have in the family a 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.1 liter V6. It is, of course getting some miles on it and the steering is getting some play that I'd like to fix cheap.  But, I've never replaced things like the tie rod ends, though I've heard and read that it is very easy to do.  Just go have it aligned afterwards.
Question is, how to determine where the play is and which one to replace.  Or....just replace them all?  I'll go and buy a repair manual before I actually do it, but just looking for helpful advice that may not be in the manual.
Thanks

Answer
Hi, it is easy to find the bad one. have someone to help you, have the helper to turn the steering wheel back and forth. Then you can see witch tie-rod is loose.
If you replace the tie-rods I would replace the both of them. Check the stabilizer bar bushings.
