RV Repair: rv gally holding tank, holding tank, sewer hose

M gray gally tank release vale does not seam to open or close.I pull the handle up and down and nothing happans. Before i have it replaced what can i do?

Try taking a coat hanger, streched out, and feeding it up the spout where you would hook on your sewer hose.  Pull the handle up and see if the hanger can go past the area where the grey valve is.  If the valve seems to be shut, then you need to replace it.  

That handle and stem should screw into the valve door.  Possible the threads pulled out.  If not, you may be able to rescrew the stem into the valve door.
