RV Repair: fuse box, rv campgrounds, fuse box

Question
I feel so dumb asking this question but here it goes.  I have a 1997 27 foot Star-craft travel trailer. I have looked in every spot I can think of for a fuse box (I was told there are 2). I can not find either one.  Where am I not looking?

Thank you in advance for your help.

John

P.S. We are new to owning and traveling with a trailer.  I am just very tired of staying in hotels/motels not knowing who or what slept in the bed you are about to, and it is more cost effective.

Answer
Sounds like you got a nice RV.  Campgrounds have just as many offerings as a motel.  It is better if you like the outdoors.

Anyway, you know where the cord is outside the Rv.  That cord has another end that goes into the fuse box.  So look in the area of the cord, but inside the RV.  That should help you narrow down the location.  Once you have found that one, the other is could be anywhere.  It is probably behind a false wall, or a piece of wall that looks like it should not move.  That is for asthetics, but remember the fuse box will be able to be accessed easily, incase you need to get to it in a hurry.  Therefore it will not be behind anything that needs tools to remove, or in an obscure location.  Good luck.
