RV Repair: popup electrical, electrical outlets, home thanks

Question
I wanted to test my electrical before going out this year.  With a converter plug, I plugged into my outside recepticle.  No power.  Lights and electrical outlets do not work.  Last year this happened and when I went to a campsite and hooked up to their electrical all but lights worked.  I later found a wire loose on the switch when the sink is raised and lowered and repaired.  Why do my electrical outlets work at the site but not at home?

i would start with
1.test to see if you have 110 volts at the plug
2. test to see if you have 110 volts at the converter
3.test to see if you have 110 volts at the connection box
4.start with the first light or receipt test to see if you have 110 volts
just test all the way through
