RV Repair: batteries, jumper wires, battery holder

My 2002 Catalina Lite travel trailer came with two batteries. I took them loose for the winter and now I have forgotten how to hook them back up!  Help!  There is a red and a black wire on each side of the battery holder. One side also has a little green wire.  Do I hook a battery to each side seperate?

Hi Joan,
 I would think red to positive on the battery to closest to the wire. Green and black are ground. Hook all to the first Battery and use two jumper wires to connect the other battery. Positive to positive and Negative to Negative. Hope that helps. Good Luck
