RV Repair: R V Wedgewood Range, pilot area, general location

My Wedgewood Range (R 2136 BGP) will not spark at the pilot area.  In looking at it, the ceramic that the medal rod goes thru is cracked.  Does this prevent the spark?   It also appears that replacements are hard to get.  With this the only   problem with the stove, what can I do without ordering a brand new $600. stove.   Thanks in advance for any help.

Jim, The break in the ceramic may well be the trouble. Is this an old stove/ oven? I will try to see if I can locate the igniter for you through some of my sources. I know a few that I have found that may have the part. If you can give me a general location where you are at I may be able to even find one near you. Thanks, Bill
