RV Repair: no spark onan 4000 series gen.

I have power to the coil on the pos. side, and the neg. side while cranking.  No spark, any answers???

Doug, It is hard to diagnose troubles like this but the way to look at things when testing them is the way you seem to be going about doing so. If there is the correct power going into basically any part that generates a spark and there is nothing coming out I always tend to believe that is the part that has gone bad. So I would look at the coil and see if power is coming out when it is going in. You may also want to pull a plug out to see if it is getting spark when out of the cylinder. Sometimes plugs can not fire under the load they have. I hope that this helps, Bill
