RV Repair: Coleman Cheyenne Roof Leak, coleman cheyenne, lifetime warranty

Question
We bought a used 2003 Coleman pop-up in 2006 from a rv dealer and purchased an extended warranty. According to the catalog, the roof (one-piece Strata  ... guaranteed never to leak) has a limited lifetime warranty. It now has cracks in it and although not currently leaking, it was recommended by the dealer that we replace it and they say it is not covered under the warranty. What are your thoughts? Can the cracks be repaired or must the entire top be replaced? What about the "Lifetime warranty and guarantee not to leak"?

Answer
Ken, The roof will probably need to be replaced and as for the lifetime warranty I would look at it and see what the limited thing about it is. If it doesn't fall under what happened to this then I would fight until I was blue in the face or until I was tired of that and gave up. If you need anything else ask and I will do my best. Thanks, Bill
