RV Repair: Slide, metal rollers, better chance

Question
How can I increase the rise of a slide? I am trying to replace carpet with wood on a 2007 fleetwood excursion.

I don't quite understand what you mean. Do you mean you need to lift the slide out so it will go over the installation you are doing to it? If so the slides are pretty tight in the holes they are in and it is not a good idea to raise the floor. You could install some metal rollers to bring it up over the wood as long as it isn't too much. Remember that when you adjust a slide things usually work opposite than they would seem to. I imagine that your slide is run by a motor and not hydraulic. If it is a level slide than you have a little better chance to adjust for what you are looking for.
