RV Repair: slideouts in the winter, travel locks, meantime thanks

Question
I am planning on going to my 36' 1998 5th wheel tomorrow to spend a few days. We live in Minnesota.  Temp today up there is about 5 degrees.
My dad went to put the slideouts out.  One is coming out at the bottom but not the top.  He thinks it is the slideout cover, but it may be frozen/sticking at the top of the seal.  The other two slideouts just click when he tries to put them out.
I am guessing they are froze up around the seals.
Could frozen slideout covers keep them from sliding out?
Do you think warming up the inside to 70 or 75 degrees for a while help?
I didn't have any trouble in January, but we have had some thawing and re-freezing in the meantime.
Thanks for your advice!

Do you think just warming up the inside to 70 degrees or so for a while might unfreeze the slideouts o

Answer
MARK
THOSE SLIDEOUTS HAVE GOTTEN ICE IN BETWEEN THE LAYERS OF THE CANVAS AND  ON THE SEALS AND WIPERS.THERE MIGHT EVEN BE TRAVEL LOCKS ON THE ROLLERS THAT HAVE BEEN PUSHED DOWN BY THE SNOW OR ICE.
AS COLD AS IT IS I DOUBT YOU COULD GET ENOUGH HEAT OUT THERE TO FREE THEM UP. AND PUSHING IT TO OPEN IS JUST GOING TO GET SOMETHING HURT. BUT IT SHOULDN'T HURT TO WARM IT UP AND GIVE IT A "LITTLE PUSH".
I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA AND I'VE OPENED AWNINGS AND FOUND WATER STILL IN THE CANVAS AS LATE AS AUG. FROM APRIL RAINS.
I WOULD CRANK THAT FURN TO ABOUT 90 FIRST...THEN GO EASY.
