RV Repair: Coleman top wont stay up, coleman, crank

I have a 2001 Coleman Westlake.  I can get the top up, but it won't stay up.  What is the likely problem and how difficult a repair would it be.  Thanks.

Hi Kent, Sounds like the spring on the ratcheting crank came off. I am not sure how hard the access is, and if that IS the problem and you can find the spring...I don't think its that hard. It's been a long time since I worked on a Coleman. Good Luck.
