RV Repair: mounting items on my travel trailer walls, trailer life books, no screws

Question
We have been folding trailer folks for 10 years.  We just purchased a 2005 Starcraft Travelstar 16B. As a tinkerer, I would like to add some personal touches, but this is the first time I have had walls to attach anything to.  I would like to mount a piece of aluminum angle iron to the wall to carry one end of the table to eliminate one of the pedestals, but I am not sure how the walls (appear to be paneling) are constructed.  That is, do I use anchors, rivets?  What is the typical wall structure in a starcraft trailer?  This is one of several projects I would like to tackle.  Is there a good book out three on simialr projects?  I would like to hang brackets on the ceiling.  Again, would wood/metal screws hold? How far before I penetrate the roof?  Thank you in advance.

Answer
Hi Jim, No, screws wont hold. Use Expansion Rivets to hang things to the wall. It is made out of 1/4" paneling and Styrofoam. You can easily gauge the thickness of the roof by looking at the roof vents. Look at the flange around the vent. Trailer Life books has a few hand books that might help. Good Luck
