RV Repair: Coleman pop-up electrical problem, turn signals, j box

Hi,
  I have a couple of problems that may be related. The water pump in trailer is not kicking on when faucet is used and the running lights on outside do not turn on when connected to vehicle (withlights turned on). However, the break lights and turn signals work. Any ideas what to check?

Also, my battery (almost brand new) is almost dead so I'm thinking the converter is not working.

Your running lights are powered from the tow vehicle.Some, but very few towables have the running lights fused in the junction box where the pigtail connects to the trailer. I would start at the J-box with the truck plugged in and make sure you have power on that wire and start following it from there.I would test the 12v power at the pump If you have power there replace the pump.
