RV Repair: fifthwheel slide out adjustment, side slide, rack pinion

Question
I have a 2006 Fleetwood wilderness Fifthwheel with a drivers side
slide, the floor on the front inside of the trailer is 2" high when slid
in, and the lower out side front is out about 1/2" the rear outside
top is out about 1/2". This is a rack & pinion type with an electric
motor and drive line.

Answer
Usually there are a set of bolts - both to move it vertically and a set to move it side to side. Without actually seeing it, it's hard for me to say. There are many different types of S/O systems out there. Look for some bolts, and use trial and error to adjust it, if you want. Your unit should still be under warranty, so call Fleetwood customer service.
