RV Repair: 12 volt system, capri class, 12 volt systems

Question
I own a 1996 Gulfstream Yellowstone Capri Class C RV.  Recently I changed the deep cycle battery because the old battery, while working correctly, could not hold a charge.  Now the 12 volt system does not function with the new battery.  The 115 land line works the 12 volt systems correctly.  All of the breakers and fuses are okay.  The voltage at the new battery when the engine is running increases to approx. 14 volts.  But still there seems to be a breaker or fuse that I am overlooking between the battery and the distribution panel.  Please help.  Thanks, John

Answer
Unfortunately, I don't know where the fuses are on various units. Manufacturers put them in different and strange places.  You may have a disconnect relay in line and/ or a fuse causing this problem.  As far at the increase in voltage with the unit running, this is normal.  The only thing that I can tell you is start at the battery and trace the wires from one end to the power convertor.  This is wher they should end up.  If your power convertor is a Magnetek, there is a change over relay in the bottom that switches the system over from battery to shore power, and that could be defective also.
