RV Repair: Trailer Floor, floor joists, finished floor


Question
i have a 2001 timberland 33qbs and i had a water leak. i think i fixed it but now my bedroom floor is soft along the wall.when i pull up the old wood is there a frame or rafters under it to attach wood to?and where do i go from there?i'm going to try and fix it saturday please help me

Depending on how your unit is constructed, you may have to cut the bad piece out along the edge of the sidewall. This is because usually the sidewalls are set on top of the finished floor.
In answer to your question, yes there will be something to attach the new piece to. It might be metal or it might be wood. If it is metal, the plywood is probably screwed on, and if the joists are wood, it might be stapled. Make sure you replace all wood that is soft, including floor joists if needed. You won't need to remove any bad joists - just put a new one next to the bad one.
