Saab Repair: engine cranks but does not start, engine cranks, walter wong

Hello,

I own a viggen 2000 and i am experiencing an intermittent problem in that the engine always cranks but sometimes it does not start.
Yesterday the engine cranks and starts immediately. Today the engine cranks but does not start. I wait 20 minutes and then it starts and i drive 400 km without a problem. Then i crank it again and it does not fire. Tried it again 60 minutes later and does not start. Then i called a tow truck to tow it away to the mechanic. Then for the fun of it i cranked the engine and it starts without a problem. There is no overheating in the gauge.

You will need to check the fuel pump power,to do that, need to raise the rear seat, right side and under the carpet you will find the connector.
Check w/a volt meter if do you have electricity at the time when crank the engine.
if is OK, the problemit could be the non return valve, and to check that, need to check the gas pressure.
