Saturn Repair: 1995 saturn, ratchet, 8mm

i need to replace the starter on my 1995 saturn. where is it located at on the motor? what tools do i need? how hard is it to get to,do i need to remove the tire?

The starter is located on the back of the motor. With out a lift it will be difficult to get to. Not impossible just more difficult just make sure you safely jack it up so you can crawl under it. You'll need a 8mm 10mm 13mm and 15mm sockets. And a ratchet. The back bolt holding the starter in is difficult to get to. You'll need a couple different lenght extensions. You won't be able to see it you'll have to feel for it.good luck let me know how you make out.
