Saturn Repair: Saturn Reverse Slam, hub seal, saturn sl1

Chris,
My 1995 Saturn SL1 is very slow to go into reverse when warmed up. A times I have to rev the engine a bit to get it to go into reverse.

Any thoughts?

Al,
 Common problem for that year model.  You will need one of two things.  You will either need a new valve body ($800-$1000), or a new hub seal kit / nut ($400-$600).  You can't tell which one is needed until you get into the transmission to "air check" the clutches and seals.  If you want to do it yourself and you have the tools, let me know and I'll walk you through it.
