Saturn Repair: timing belt, pretty good year, serpintine belt

Question
Does the saturn 1998 sw2 wagon have a timing belt?  I have had hondas in the past and have always had to replace timing belt at 100K.  is the serpintine belt in the saturn the same as the timing belt?  Any major repairs concerns i should know about before buying a 1998 sw2 w/140K miles on it? The Car has recently had a full tune up including a new serpintine belt, new water pump, new battery,
new radiator, fuel system cleaned, front brakes, rotors and two new tires.

Answer
Anthony,
That Saturn has a timing chain.  Unless you hear nasty rattling noises at idle, that chain is still good.  There is no maintenance schedule for replacing the chain, just fix it when it breaks.  That '98 Saturn is a pretty good year.  As long as the vehicle looks like it's in good shape, you should only have minor problems with it.  Hope this helps.
