im thinking of buying a 1997 satyrn sl2 with 108,000 ml. How long do theses engines last before having problems?

 If the oil has been changed every 3000 miles and the vehicle has not been run too hard, they will last forever, almost.  S-Series vehicles are outstanding, if taken care of, longevity vehicles.  I know of a few that have been running for well over 300,000 miles.  Keep them maintained and they shouldn't let you down.
