Saturn Repair: Car turns over then dies, saturn sc2, fuel filter

I have a 94 Saturn SC2. I was driveing the car and when i stoped at a light and went to go the car would jerk like i was on the clutch. Then the car started makeing a clicking sound when i switched gears. And when i was a block away from my house the car started to buck. About an hour later i took the car for a drive and when i slowed down to stop the car died. Now the car turns over and then dies. I cant get it to run. When the car dies the engin makes a hissing sound. Fuel filter was replaced but still not running. The engin light did come on. Thank you.

Hi Kim,
Unfortunately, I can't put my finger on the problem for you.  It could be too many things including the transmission or Clutch (or the solendoids inside of it), the Ingintion control module or one of the sensors that reports conditions back to the computer.  The hissing before it dies doesn't help...I don't know if that is 'normal' or not.  It sounds like a situation where an auto repair place is your only option at this piont to be able to diagnose it.  Honestly,I haven't come across this particular problem and I am at a loss.
