Saturn Repair: 1993 saturn sl2, fuel injector cleaner, saturn sl2

Question
The car shifts very hard when stepping down on the gas at about 35 miles an hour.Also runs a littel rough at idle I haved replaced spark pulgs and wires helped a littel.

Hi John,
This is most likely a fuel injector related issue.  I know this sounds simple, but a lot of us have had great success by adding a bottle of inexpensive (don't spend the extra on a name brand injuctor cleaner) bottle of Fuel Injector Cleaner to HALF a TANK of gas.  After the tank gets down below 1/4 tank, fill back up to 1/2 tank and add another bottle.  Also, if you can, remove the air filter top and spray carb cleaner into the intake boot while someone is keeping the car idling (it will want to stall so you have to keep the engine RPM up).  Those two things should clear up that ptroblem...it is, by the way, very common to the SL2.
