Saturn Repair: service light w/wrench ???, saturn sl1, valve clearances

Please help! I have a 96 Saturn SL1 and I have a light on that says service and has a wrench next to it. I had it checked by a computer and it said "INTAKE VALVE LEVEL HIGH" but I didn't get the code number. Any ideas?

Hi Rob O,
I don't know anything about that particular error code.  You could take off the valve cover and manually check the valve clearances with a set of feeler gauges and compare them to the recommended ranges in a Haynes Auto Repair Saturn Manual (about $15 at most autoparts stores) But, I can't say for sure that you'll be able to remedy the problem. It soounds more like a mechanic type of repair.  Sorry I can't be of more help.
