Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): diode, briggs stratton, charging system

WHAT SIZE DIODE DOES A TECUMSEH MODLE # OHV155-204509E USE.

Are you talking about the charging system diode?  If so, I gave up trying to spec OEM.  We just buy the replacement from Tecumseh or Briggs.

My bet is any diode that is roughly the same physical size as the diode you have will work fine and only cost a couple of bucks at Radio Shack.
