Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): JOHN DEER RX95 RIDING LAWN TRACTOR/ NOT A ZERO TURN, pinion and ring gear, john deer

Question
I HAVE A JOHN DEER MODEL RX95. MY FRONT END IS LOCKED UP AND THE STEERING WHELLS WON'T TURN WHEN YOU TRY TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL.I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO OR HOW TO FIX IT. THE DRAG LINKS ARE TIGHT AND SHOW NO WEEKNESS ARE TO SEEM TO BE OK.

WHAT DO I DO?????????????????

Answer
If you jack up the front of the mower and you turn the wheels by hand?  If so then you know the spindles are at least free, not binding.  If you can turn the wheels by hand then I would check the steering pinion and ring gear to see if they are binding.

Let me know what you find.
