Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman Snowblower, mtd canada, canadian tire

Hi I was hoping you could help me with information on my snow blower,as I'm having trouble. I have a Craftsman snowblower and cant find drive or auger belt sizes any where. Modle # is C590-52819-0. Also if you could find the HP rating on my engine that would be great as well. Its a Tecumseh Modle # is HMSK480. Thanks

You blower is mande by MTD Canada.  8 to 8.5 horsepower according to several websites.

Did you try Canadian Tire?  

If you have the old belts you can just take them to you local mower repair shop or auto parts store and have them measured.  In a pinch, some string will help narrow the belt size you need, just buy a couple of diffent sizes close to what you measured and return the belt(s) you don't needs.

Did you try contacting Sears?
