1500 watt generator
Hello. I have a 1500 watt chinese generator. No name brand but marketed under many brand names. Manual says its model APL1500 Series Gas Generator. I can't find any info on this thing. I did find that the Power Ace 1500 looks exactly like mine, but ran into dead end. I've seen Buffalo, Champion, Sportsman, Duromax, All Power etc, all similar but having different engines. Long story short...
I am looking for valves springs and valve spring retainers. My engine is a 2.5 HP OHV 4-stroke, 81 mL displacement, 60 Hz. Local small engine shop showed me Honda and Briggs parts. Similar in design, they were too small.
Approx dimensions:
spring: .865 o.d. x .95 tall x .085 thick wire.
retainer: .930 o.d. with .225 oblong hole
Any help or leads is greatly appreciated.

AnswerRon... Please get me a photograph or copy ALL the information from the EPA tag on the bottom of the engine. This will help identify it. the tag is on the engine blower housing. There is also a number stamped into the engine that will be helpful. Look on the block by the oil fill.
