Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snowchief Snowblower, worm gear, seasonal hours

John, I need your help.  I am trying to locate a drive gear (I think) for a 25" 8HP Snowchief.  The tag is almost impossible to read but I think it is...
?B250E      or   R8250E       or  ?8250E
1120 6 2         1120 6 2         1120 6 2

The serial number is clearly 343853 68  (The "68" is smaller #'s)

The gear mounts directly only the solid axel and is driven by the (worm) gear to power the wheels.  It is plastic (can't believe that)and several teeth have been ground-down, making it ineffective.  If you can point me in a direction I would be very appreciative,
