Question
got a sticking inlet valve on starter side outside of taking engine apart-got any ideas- also how can in make sure engine on top dead ctr to adjust valves,,,

>>You can Try Marvel Mystery Oil in the Crankcase Oil and Put a Small Amount in the Gas as Well.
>>If the Marvel Mystery Oil does Not Correct the Valve Sticking Problem, then
>>The Cylinder Head has to be Removed and the Valve Removed from the Cylinder Head and Inspected for being Bent or Cleaned as Required.

>>If you Remove the Valve Cover and then Turn the Engine by Hand, you can Watch the Intake Valve Movement. When the Intake Valve Closes, the Piston will Just Starting the Compression/Power Stroke.
>>On Some Engines you can Us a Straightened Coat Hanger and Feel the Piston.
>>Be Careful and Don't Jam the Wire in the Cylinder. Usually the Piston will Push the Wire Out of the Spark Plug Hole with No Problems.
