Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda HRB215 SP/Trans access, propell, gromet

I have acquired three Hondas of this model type.  All in some state of disrepair.  The first one had no Self-propell and no Trans - but the blade clutch did work.  I would like to get access to the SP and Trans cables.  I assume that I need to remove the hood/cover of the mower to look.  What do I need to do to remove the hoods on these mowers?  I see one gromet on the back side. was wondering if that is all that holds the hood on the base.

Have you power washed the mower, including the under side of the deck, to look for retaining screws.  I looked in the part list but it was not clear if anything else was holding the hood in place.  I would power wash, look for any fastners/bolts, and then see if the cover just pops off.
