Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Gas Leaf Blower wont accelerate

Question
Question, I was using my Homelite Vac Attack II, Model UT08544 gas leaf blower last week. It started fine and worked well for over 1/2 hour. Then it conked out. Gas was a little low. So, I put more in. It started fine and idled fine. But, when I tried to accelerate, it would conk out. I just made up a new batch of fuel. It requires 50:1  ratio. I also cleaned the air filter and oiled it.

Would Appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks

Sounds like you have carburetor problems. The 2 cycle engines and carbs  have problems because there passageways are so tiny that a small tiny piece of dirt will clog up the vents, ports filters. You need to disassemble the carburetor and clean it out and check the gaskets and the diaphragms to see what kind of condition they are in. The carburetor you have is a Walbro wyc carb. They have repair & rebuild kits for the Walbro WYC-10 carburetor. I have attached a carb breakdown on this carb. The rebuild kits is a K10-WYC We have them if you need them at $6.99 plus $3.50 Shipping 1st class USPS
