Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Coleman Generator, coleman powermate, coleman generator

Question
I have a Coleman Powermate 5000 generator powered by a 10 HP Tecumseh engine. I bought the machine new about 4 years ago and never used it until a few weeks ago. For the past 3 weeks I have been running it about 7-8 hours a day on a job site. It worked great until yesterday when, for no apparent reason, it stopped generating electricity. The engine runs fine. And the circuit breakers did not trip. It just stopped generating electricty.
Can you help?
Thanks,
Paul

Answer
Hello Paul:

>>This Problem is Usually caused by a Blown Capicitor or Condensor.
>>If you have Electrical Experience, then you can Locate the Bad Capicitor or Condensor and Replace it.
>>If No Electrical Experience, then I Suggest you have your Local Shop Diagnose the Problem and Quote you a Repair Price for Locating and Replacing the Bad Component.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I Hope to be Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
