Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Simplicity Regent 15 hp lawn tractor. (10 years old), lawn tractor, fuse

My tractor stopped while I was in middle of cutting my lawn.  It seemed to be running fine up to that point.I restarted it right away with no problem.  Then a few minutes later it stopped again. This time it would not start - not even crank. Head lights would not go on so I tried charging and even replaced battery still nothing.

I am not an expert at Simplicity, but the first thing I would check is the fuse. If this is ok, you will have to move to the connections on the ignition, pto switch and safetys. I cannot give specific information as I have only worked on 2 of these units in my life.
