Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): pocket bike, proper lubricant, mini bikes

hi there my pocket bike heats up fast in the matter of a minute i start it go for a spinn down the road and i come back and it dies out because its so hot would you know whats rong? thanks

could be a couple things
1. Is it getting proper Airflow around the block?
2. when was the last time you changed the engine oil in it to 10W30 Summer grade and SAE 15 Winter grade?

you over heating is because you Have nothing to dissapate the heat Mini bikes are no different from any engine that uses gasoline to power them you need proper airflow remove the plastics from the front or whatever is covering that motor and 2 proper Lubricant
