Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Blown spark pug, heli coil, hp engine

I have a 12 HP engine that blew the spark plug out of the head. How can I repair this? The hole is stripped in the head now.

You cac have a Heli-coil installed or you can buy a used head.  Heli-coil are sort of expensive for one time use...it may be cheaper and easier to buy a used head.

You can price a Heli-coil, used heads, and call around and get some estimates from local machine shops.

Personally I would get a used head.
