Adjusting the governor

The simplest way to explain governor adjustment is to move your throttle control back and forth and watch what way the throttle arm moves when in full throttle. Once you figure out if it moves clockwise or counterclockwise, put it in full throttle, loosen the bolt/nut on the governor arm and rotate the governor shaft in the same direction. While holding the shaft this way, tighten the bolt on the governor arm.
