Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda HRB216TDA, stops every 2-3 minutes, honda lawn, valve clearances

Question
I have a Honda lawn mower model HRB216TDA. It starts up just fine w/o any problems and runs for 2-3 minutes and then it stops as if there is no gas in it.  But, I can put the chock back on again and it starts up just fine and runs again for another 2-3 minutes before it stops. I put a new carburetor on it and it does the same. I also cleaned the fuel lines and the gas tank. I also experimented with the gas cap off in case the gas cap air vent is dirty. That didn’t change the behavior either.  Any idea what the problem may be?
Thanks in advance.

Answer
Hello Simon:

>>Did you Check the Gas Flow From the Tank to the Carburetor? Sometimes the Inside of the Fuel line will Separate and Slightly Restrict the Gas Flow to the Carburetor causing this type of Problem.
>>Have you Checked the Valve Clearances?
>>You can Locate the Valve Clearance Specs at this Site Addy; http://outdoorpowerinfo.com/engine_specs/  and Select Valve Clearances Under you Engines OEM (). Then Set the Valve Clearances to the Specifications Listed on the Chart for your Engine.
>>It is Also Possible that the Igniter (if applicable) or the Ign Coil may Require Replacing.
>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL at this Site Addy,
http://www.emerichsales.com/ and Select Honda in the Drop Down Under "Parts Look-up" at the Left of the Page. Now Fill Out the Quick Parts Look Up Section.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.
