Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Locked engine, john deere l120, idler pulleys

Question
I have a john deere l120 with a B&S Intek 20 twin V ohv engine.  It would not turn over and I loosened the bracket that holds the pto clutch in place and it will then turn over along with the pto clutch. Could my pto clutch be locked up and keeping my engine from turning.  Also the three wires that go to the pto clutch were broken when the clutch was loosened.  I have no idea where they go.  HELP PLEASE!!!

Answer
Hello Dave:

>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine and Mower at this Site Addy, http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H... and Enter the Model Numbers and Click Find. Then Select your Model from the Search Results Area. Then Select the Sectional File. Then Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View Online. *You can Drag the View Windows for Better Viewing.*

>>It Sounds like the PTO has Seized and Requires Replacing.
